Another old one for a Throwback Thursday. Again rerecorded today. I thought I'd do a touch more than just piano though. A bit of drums and stand-up bass. A fun little tune.
lyrics
There's something in the air,
I can feel it everywhere,
The clouds are flying by
and you're somewhere in the sky
I set my mind at ease,
'cause I feel it in the breeze,
It's you I love,
And the Sunflower is my dove
When the fire burns within, the sea can't put it out
With the silky touch of velvet, and wind will leave no doubt
When we understand the sunrise, it's only then that we'll know
The beauty of the sunflower, it's then your heart will grow
Yesterday I planted a seed into the ground,
And today I pray, that the thing that I found
Is a sunflower in the distance, by the river to run
A sunflower so precious, pointing me towards The Son.
